The educational part of this game is the portrayal of violence the portrayal of humanity, it shows the fact that no one is innocent and there is no clear bad guy or good guy. The Russian campaign is my by far my favorite. The second one is the perspective of the Russians, Gary Oldman voices Victor Reznov. The first one is the American perspective of the Pacific Front, Kiefer Sutherland voices Roebuck. The game is separated into two campaigns, campaign is means story think of it like that.
The cursing is pretty basic f bombs and s bombs but nothing that a 14 year old hasn't heard. So I suggest sitting with your child and discuss what they are seeing and experience the ride with him/her to make it clear as possible and easy to digest. The best way to educated people about a issue is to go up to them and show them the reality of the problem sometimes the truth is not pretty but that's the only way its going to get better is to acknowledge the problem, and this game knows and understands that. This is game is violent lets face it that is the thing your going to notice first but it in no way glorify it, and I can't say your wrong about its violence but you have to realize that violence in this case is needed. This game will rock you to the very core, this game will amaze you in its power, its message illuminates inside of me as i'm writing this review this is the game that i can confidently say that is on the same level as Spec Ops The Line. Not to mention the two A list actors like Gary Oldman and Kiefer Sutherland, if you value education when it comes to history and or its preservation you found your game. This is the best mainstream history game you and your child need to experience. This is the one of the best history games this generation. Avoid war if possible and to love each other. Talk and experience this with your child so you child can understand better what this game is trying to say to you, its curse words are something that your child has heard before so its nothing new, and its message is positive.
